I like to see the small details of hand dyed yarn, how can I do that with an online shop?
-Send us an email to setup a virtual shopping appointment on Zoom. If you are local to North County San Diego, you can make an appointment to view the yarn in person, just let us know the yarn base and colors ahead of time so we can ensure we have plenty in stock and have it out and available for viewing. 

I need help pairing colors together for a pattern, can you help?
-Absolutely! That is what we are here for, just contact us: info@thelovinashop.com

I need to buy another skein of yarn to match the same brand and color that I purchased from another shop. How can I do this with hand dyed yarn as I know the color needs to be from the same dye lot?
-Mail in a 1-3 yard sample of the yarn color you need matched and we will match it for you. Send us an email for more information info@thelovinashop.com

What is the color of the month?
-Color of the month is inspired from Baah Yarn's limited edition monthly colors. Baah hand-dyes surprise colors each month that fade into one another each month so you can create a fun project! We will ship out your yarn in the beginning of each month. You can pause, skip, or cancel at anytime. 

What countries do you ship to?
-United States, Canada, UK, Germany, France, and Australia 

How long will it take for my items to ship?
-Typically we try to ship within 1-2 days. However, please allow up to 5 business days (M-F) for handling time, if we are back ordered we will contact you. Depending on the time of year, shipping could take up to 2 weeks. If your order is taking more than 2 weeks, please contact us. 

Why does handling time take longer than 2 days sometimes?
-For larger quantity orders, we ensure all hand dyed yarn colors match appropriately. In other cases, we may need to get the yarn specially dyed, which could take up to 5-7 days. 

I do not see the colors I want, do you have them?
-We can special order Baah Yarn. Please note that handling time may take an extra few days. 

How long does shipping take?
-We always try to ship your items as quick as possible. Sometimes if multiple skeins are ordered, it may take extra time to ensure the skeins match well together. Please allow up to 5 business days for your items to ship, and at least a week for it to arrive. Orders should take about 2 weeks to arrive.

My order says delivered, but I did not get my package what do I do?

  • Check the tracking number that was emailed once your order was shipped.
  • Contact your local post office
  • Please allow up to 48 ours after you get your delivery confirmation to declare it missing

I paid for Priority 2-3 day shipping and my package is taking longer what can I do?
-Unfortunately USPS is a 3rd party and we have no control over the package once it is shipped out. All delays will need to be settled up with USPS. Please note to expect shipping delays around the holidays. We are unable to provide refunds for shipping for issues caused internally by UPS or USPS. However, if the mistake is on our behalf, shipping label does not match your selection, we will fully refund you for shipping. 

Do I need to sign for my packages?
-An authorize signature will be required for orders over $500

Do you have a store front?
-We are an online shop, if you are local to North County San Diego, Carlsbad CA, you can email us to request curbside pick up, or an appointment to view yarn.

What is Savannah yarn?
-Savannah yarn in made from 100% superwash merino wool, 10% cashmere, and 10% Nylon.

Do you sell other yarn besides Baah?
-We are open to expanding our retail for other yarn brands. However, we personally go into the Baah warehouse to hand select the perfect yarn for you!

Do you accept returns?
-Yes we do, please refer to our return policy.

I entered in the wrong shipping address what do I do?
-Make sure your billing and shipping address is accurate. If you place your order and you notice in the confirmation email that it is incorrect, please contact us immediately. If it is caught before we ship it, we can update the address for you. If there is an error and you do not catch it in time, additional shipping costs will be the buyers responsibility.
